On August 11th, while the world was watching the final day of the Olympics, I was crossing the finish line of my third virtual triathlon!
The first time I took on this challenge was during the COVID lockdown, but the second and third times were for when my body had become a little different. 🙃
Now, I take breaks between each event, allowing myself to adapt and move forward with grace. These experiences have taught me so much—how to be more grateful, resilient, and less stringent about how things “should” be done. I've learned to embrace how I can do things, leaning into my own adaptations with kindness and understanding.
The best part? I wasn’t alone this time. A few friends joined me, and together, we pushed our limits and supported each other through every step (and stroke) of the way.
Every challenge brings growth, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Here’s to continuing this journey of resilience and grace!
